Different Pitch than Host DAW

Hey,
Sorry for the ridiculously basic question but whenever I export one of the example patches from cabbage as a VST (I am running the latest build) the pitch seems to be different from the other VSTs or built in Ableton instruments.

For instance, when I press middle C, an A might sound.

I am running OSX 10.10.5 and Ableton 8.4.2.

Any help would be great.

Hello,
did you check if you csd file was at same sample rate as the default one of the DAW ?
By default cabbage sets it at 44100
