Fixed - Error running Cabbage on windows 8.1

Hi I am new to cabbage and have just downloaded and installed the latest version (incl. csound 6) for windows. the install went without errors but the .exe want run due to this error:

“Cabbage can’t start because csound64.dll is missing from your computer. Try to reinstall the program to fix this problem”
The csound64.dll appear to be located in the csound folder as it should.

Have anyone encountered this problem, or have an idea how to fix it?

Edit: A system restart fixed the error!

Looks like the installer might not be working on 8.1, can you add the Csound/bin folder to your system path variable?

Ah, looks like that’s still needed on 8.1, thanks for letting us know. It doesn’t appear to be necessary on Win10.
