I also needed to set alpha channel and use outlinethickness to make it look like before. But I agree, this is a better way of specifying it.

I downloaded Cabbage for MacOS 2.0.20a, however when I go to āaboutā Cabbage, it shows 2.0.13a. The app also shows a created date of 6 July 2017.

Yep! All working now: The about Cabbage shows correct version, and I can see the file is newer, and also larger.
