Hi everyone, :smiley:

I’m trying to get Cabbage working on Ubuntu 14.04 (and Mint) but compiling this thing on Linux is really hard, almost impossible.
I’ve gone through all the steps in the threads in the ‘Cabbage slugs’ category and event compiled statically the latest CSound library but still Cabbage doesn’t compile. :confused: and I’m actually one step of giving up on it completely.

Did anybody manage to compile Cabbage in Ubuntu/Debian? -or- Do you know of any DEB files, some PPA or a Debian repository?

I’m now on Ubuntu Studio 16.04 but I had Cabbage running in 14.04 until I upgraded a couple of weeks ago. I’ve generated a .deb, but it is now outdated I believe. Please tell us what errors are you seeing when building. Are you cloning the develop branch on github or using the Sources provided on this site? Have you already downloaded the SDK from Steinberg?
