This is encouraging, thanks for the help.
I found that the Scala file, the .so and the csd all have to be included in the vst folder.
My Midi Scala module now starts with the ‘usual’ 12TET, the filebutton imports another Scala file.
It reads Scala files as produced with the Scale Workshop
It does not like the Scala files from https://www.huygens-fokker.org/scala/
it then hangs or crashes Cabbage.
Something to dive into once i understand the decoding of Thorin Kerr a bit better, but for now i would say importing different scales and using them in Midi is possible!
