Have worked with older version of Cabbage and had no problems added any AU 3rd party plugin
but with 2.9 It defaults to something called Juice (don’t even know what they is) and try, hunt, search
I can’t find a way to change path of and load any of my many 3rd party plugins. What I’m I missing? Thanks in advance for any help…Marty
3rd Party Plugin Audio units
Hi @ZethusProductions, if you go to the View menu, and click the show 3rd party plugins menu command that should bring up a window that will allow you to add folders to the search path. Btw, if you’re still using v2.9.0, I’d suggest moving to one of the more recent betas. A lot fo things have been fixed since then
Hi Rory, thanks for the quick response. Sill no luck though. I ve attached jpegs of what I see in view menu. Seemed only logical sub menu was “Available Plugins” yet seems no way to point to any folder(s) with other AU plugins. Also, a little confusion on finding latest beta versions. Also, some note that they may not work on Mac. I am on a Mac studio M4 with Sequoia OS…Thanks! Marty
On my Mac I see this
What’s the issue with the latest betas on Mac? I’ve no heard any reports since now that there might be a problem. The only thing I can think of is that once again Apple have increased their level of security. So you’ll probably have to ad-hoc sign Cabbage before you try to use it. Can you try this and let me know?
