Audio Settings Window and Display problems (fixed)

Win10_x64, Presonus Studio One 3, Cabbage5.15_x64Setup.exe

Hi Rory,

  • the audio/settings window does not appear correctly (photo 001);
  • all my plugins have display problems that you see in the pictures 002,003 and 004:
    picture 001: at startup, no display problems;
    picture 002: at the time when the mouse is positioned over any control, it appears the description of this, but does not disappear after a while…
    picture 003: this is the result when the mouse hovers over all controls…

these problems are partially fixed when I use the “groupbox” opcode (picture 005).

many thanks for all…

Ruben

That’s an odd one. I’ll take a look. They should disappear after a few moments. What is odd about the Audio Settings? But you should be able to upload an image? I’ll check the forum settings.

[edit] you should be able to post an image now…

hi,

I uploaded photos…

PS: the display problem described, appears only when the plugin opens in the DAW
many thanks for Cabbage and Cabbage Studio…

Ruben

Ok I see the problem now. Does the same thing happen with all the Cabbage examples when run as a plugin or just yours?

oooops!

only my plugins!
I must have done something wrong …

It’s hard to say without seeing your code, but are you using alpha channels for any of your background colours? Try changing them to RGB colours instead and see if that helps.

Sorry, I’m stupid!

here is the code…

You shouldn’t be using alpha channels for your main form’s colour. It’s in the docs, but the docs also say that Cabbage will convert any colours with alpha channels to plain RGB values which is doesn’t! So I guess we can both take some blame for this one!I’ll have a new version for Windows later today that should fix the audio settings dialogue box.

ok , now it works …

thank you.
