Looks good to me, maybe consider plural “channels” to make it self-documented that a widget supports multiple channels.

Yeah, that’s a fair point, but I think all widgets will now support multiple ‘channels’ so maybe we just moves to channels altogether. I’m going to start a new thread on this, as it’s diverging from the original topic…
