Cabbage stopped receiving MIDI

Out of nowhere, Cabbage stopped receiving any MIDI events in the middle of my programming process. Went back a few versions, nothing was working anymore.
Restarted, disconnected + reconnected my MIDI devices, checked if they work in my DAW (they do), repaired file permissions, ran Clean My Mac, deinstalled and reinstalled Cabbage downgrading it back to 2.5.0…I’m out of Ideas.
I’m not trying with my own funky stuff, but with example scripts like the “Bass Guitar”. Cabbage recognises my MIDI Controllers and I can select them, but it doesn’t receive any events.

Is there any “Mute All MIDI” function that I’m not aware of?

Any other Ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks!
[Edit]: So now I was able to receive MIDI by connecting the MIDI input to the instrument in the Patcher. But I have to do that now every time I open the program or a new instrument. Didn’t need to do that before and it’s quite annoying.
Any ideas?

That’s odd. What version are you using? And no, there is no setting that disables this by default. There is an auto-connect to graph in the tool menus, but this is enabled by default, and I think it’s for audio connections only…

Thanks! That was it. Works for MIDI as well. God knows, what keys/shortcuts I’m sometimes pressing in a rush.
