Cabbage3 on Linux

I managed to get Cabbage 3 plugins to run on Linux. Still a lot of work to do - but it’s nice to have got this far

Another step closer

It doesn’t actually output sound yet, but it’s asking the right questions

Heya, I’m still new to 2.8.
I was only recently clued in that ver 3 is on the release-horizon.

QUESTION:
Will patch cables like on VCVRack be part of Cabbage 3?
And-or ever intended for any time in the future?

I have this (and a few other) semi-modular ideas in mind.

Patch cables are part of Cabbage 2 if you open the Cabbage patcher from teh menu, but as of now, they are not part of Cabbage 3 plans. However, it’s something we can discuss. The problem has always been how to package a patch as a plugin. In the Cabbage 2 patcher, each node is effecticely a unique plugin. I would need to develop my own DAG to handle instances of Csound rather than plugins. It’s an interesting problem.
