My teacher says;
Group 1 - A harmonic timbre:
have a basic sound with harmonics 2, 3, 4 and 5 (ie the amplitudes of harmonics 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5),
There will be an envelope that resembles the sound of the bell.
With this timbre, you should create and send the following audio files in .WAV format for 1 second each:
. Sound with a frequency of 440 Hz,
. Sound with a frequency of 880 Hz,
. This is the chord where two sounds are heard at the same time.
Group 2 - A non-harmonic timbre:
Again with a basic sound will have 2, 3, 4 and 5 th top tones. The amplitudes of the upper tones shall be 2.1, 3.24, 4.41 and 5.6,
He’il have the same envelope again,
With this timbre, you should create and send the following audio files in .WAV format for 1 second each:
. Sound with a frequency of 440 Hz,
. The frequency of the foundation is 924 Hz,
. This is the chord where two sounds are heard at the same time.
In addition to audio files, I want you to send Csound code (.ORC and .SCO, or .CSD only) files.
I have never used Csound before. Please help.
