Will Cabbage3 support exporting in Clap plugin format?
It seems to be quite the norm that plugins are released in VST2, VST3 and Clap nowadays. (But it may be that i, as a Linux user, happen to get confronted with this? don’t know)

I definitely plan to support Clap. I think before I do that I have to get Cabbage3 to build on Linux, which is not something iPlug2 offers out of the box.

i am trying to find out what advantages CLAP has and how this could be beneficial for Cabbage plugins.
And what i should do when designing a CLAP Cabbage plugin…

I could be wrong, I can’t think of a single advantage it has over VST3 from the end-user point of view. It might be different now, but the last time I checked I think it was a few features behind VST3.
