How to Create a Custom Soundbank for Cabbage?

Hey guys…

I am currently moving into using Cabbage for creating my own audio plugins and I have a question regarding creating a custom soundbank. I am interested in building a library of sounds that I can easily use within my Cabbage instruments, especially ones that I can load into different presets for quick access.

I have read through some of the documentation, but I still feel a bit unclear about how to structure the soundbank and get it working seamlessly within the Cabbage environment. Specifically, I am wondering:

  1. What’s the best way to organize different types of sounds (e.g., bass, pads, leads, etc.) within the soundbank for easy navigation?
  2. Is there a recommended method for mapping sound files (WAV, AIFF, etc.) to the Cabbage instruments, or should I be using a different file format for optimal performance?
  3. How can I ensure the soundbank is compatible across different systems or setups, especially if I plan to share it with others?

I also check this: https://forum.cabbageaudio.com/t/csoundunity-noob-questiondevopstraining But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this? Any tips, tutorials or example projects would be incredibly helpful! I am hoping to streamline my workflow and make my sound design process a bit more efficient by integrating a custom soundbank into my Cabbage projects.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this is a valid post, but Iin case it is, check out the ftsamplebank opcode in Csound. That’s a good start.
