In Logic - Mono Plugs Are Distorting (And a free gift to Cabbagers!)

Hey Rory,

I just discovered that our line of plugins when loaded on a Mono track in Logic are getting (what sounds like) bit squashed! Let me know if you can re-create this with our latest synth.

And if anyone else wants to use it and try it out be my guest.

Thanks for the free gift :wink: I don’t have logic to test this on, but does it happen in GarageBand or MainStage? I can check tomorrow or Thursday.

I hear the same issue in Garageband. Odd. It sounds like contents of an empty channel buffer are making their way across to the mono signal. I will take a look. Your plugins are great. They really are a super advertisement for Cabbage :wink:

I’ve a feeling that Cabbage ignores Logic’s request that the plugin be loaded as mono. I will try to find a fix. But it may be tomorrow before I have the time.
