Issue with gentable click and drag saving in daw

I was trying to implement a ui similar to a wave shaper in my phase distortion based synth i used the default click and drag behavior using gen07 but when i close and then re open the daw project the table goes back to its default state. would uses have to manually use ftsave if they want to avoid this or can it behave like typical cabbage ui parameters.

It’s a while since I tried this, but I think you need to save the table to disk and reload it when needed. There are table saving opcodes that could do the trick, but I didn’t think they save the GEN type. It’s probably not as easy as it sounds actually :thinking:
