This is my first attempt with physical modelling. The instrument is based on an equation for the Brownian motion of a particle in a potential devised by Paul Langevin. Thank you for the kind words. I am a physicist by training, and for the instruments I usually draw from some concepts or methods in physics. With the documentation I want to makes this background clear. I also hope that some people out there can use this to write their own instruments. And often documentation also helps me not to lose focus when development of an instrument stretches over a long time.
