I’m guessing that making VSTs is one of the main workflows with Cabbage, but the VST export options are in a sub-menu.
Looking around this forum a bit, I think the VCV is less used or maintained. Also “module” vs plugin is somewhat hair-splitting and the FMOD stuff that is on the main menu… is also called “plugin”.
So maybe pull the 4 VST export commands into the main menu, as a section, saving one click for a common workflow?
The issue is even worse on MacOS because you have three more AU export options. It’s true that the lesser known options could be placed into their own sub menu. But that would leave 7 potential export options on the main menu in macOS?
I don’t really mind one way of the other. I’m one of those users that rarely exports anything apart from when I’m testing. I could also add an entirely new top level menu called Export - and move everything away from the file menu? I’m open to suggestions.
