Missing procedure entry point

Cabbage won’t startup at all for me all of a sudden. I’m getting a weird error message. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help. Most likely something wrong with my system, Windows 11. Hope you can help me.

”The procedure entry point csountSetHostImplementedMIDIIO could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Cabbage\Cabbage.exe”

For reference, Cabbage.exe does exist and is located in that folder, of course, since I uninstalled and did a fresh install with the latest full release, two times.

The first time I got the error it said the same message but it was csoundSetParams instead.

I recently upgraded to Csound 7 and csound runs fine from the terminal and reports version 7.0.

I was using Cabbage not too long ago and it was fine. I didn’t reinstall until after I started getting the error, so it wasn’t caused by installing.

Apologies for the delay in replying, but you’re trying to use Csound 7 with Cabbage 2, this won’t work. You’ll need to reinstall Csound 6 to keep using Cabage 2. If you would like to use Csound 7, you’ll need to start using Cabbage 3. :+1:
