Multichannel plugin output doesn’t seem to be behaving correctly on Windows.

This is now fixed in git. I found I was having some issues dynamically changing the number of channels, so I took a different approach and set the number of channels when the plugin is instantiated. Seems to work fine for me on Windows. I will run off an OSX package on Monday so we can test there.
