I’m trying to implement an informational overlay for my project and have implemented it as three separate SVG files occupying different portions of the overlay. In the IDE all three render, but when I export two are MIA. Any ideas?
I’m actually having all sorts of issues with my SVG even when they do render, which is why I split these into three parts, thinking I could isolate my problems, and this strategy did indeed help until export time. Other issues are where one of my SVG renders all objects when loaded in Safari, but in the IDE some of my changes don’t show up. I’m using Inkscape which is also new to me so I’ll look into their support options, but if anyone has advice here, as well, I’d appreciate it.
Bah. I‘m sure the problem is the same one resolved in SVG not included in au or standalone where I forgot (read: neglected) to add the files to the bundle.
You’re on MacOS yeah? I’m worried that you are spending quite some time on Cabbage 2 when it’s going to superceded by Cabbage 3 shortly. When you have a basic proof of concept let me know and I can help you port it to Cabbage 3. I don’t want for you to fall for Cabbage 2 only to find out later you really want to be with Cabbage 3
It’s different though. It’s all JSON, and everything is inside vscode, but in the long term, it might be worth jumping onboard now.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I’m probably there now. The app is feature complete, I’m just doing some house cleaning and interface tweaking. So what do you need from me to start?
Send me your code. You can PM me if you don’t want to share it publically. I can take a look and see if it can be easily ported to Cabbage
It would mean users need to install Csound7 to use it, but they would have to install Csound6 anyway to support a Cabbage 2 plugin. This is something you can offer in your installer. If you want to embed Csound into the plugin and change the company name from CabbageAudio you might want to consider the pro add-on for Cabbage 3. But your plugin will run just as well with the non pro version. It just means a little more work in terms of packaging. Send it on anyway when you’re done, and I can take a look.
