Deselecting ‘Show auto complete popup’ in Cabbage Settings prevents the popups in the editor, but each time Cabbage is restarted, its option is ticked again and the popups are back.
It doesn’t seem to be a problem with other Settings option.

I thought I had that fixed in the very latest beta build? I’ll trigger again now. I came upon that too, it slows the whole editor down. I’ve been using the Visual Studio code editor component in another project lately. It’s so much better than the current Cabbage editor, but it’s web based only. But I’m still tempted to have a go at implementing it. Maybe for Cabbage 3.0
