presetIgnore removed by mouse click on widget in edit mode

A familiar species of bug appearing in v2.9.193:
With a widget with presetIgnore(1), e.g.

label bounds(392, 302, 52, 12) text("x") channel("labelX") presetIgnore(1)

clicking on the widget in EDIT mode
removes presetIgnore(1)
