Stop / Play state after Csound parsing error

Here is the first of several low-key things I noticed which seem to be not quite right - buglets perhaps. This is Cabbage v2.0.02 compiled for Debian x86-64, as described in a recent Cabbage Stew thread.

If, in Cabbage, I edit the file to create an invalid line in the section, and then click “Play” (perhaps clicking “Stop” before doing so) then in the Csound output pane at the bottom, the error is reported. However, the Stop/Play button still changes to Stop, indicating the .csd file is playing, when in fact it is not.

.

Fix in master branch. I just did a few quick tests and it seemed to work Ok, but you might give it a whirl and let me know.

Looks like there might still be an issue here… leave it with me…

[edit] hmm, might just have been something up with my jack settings. After rebooting it seems to work again
