Which gen tables to use with vco2 oscillator I need a sine, a saw, a square and a pulse. and can you convert them to a variable using ftgen opcode in the instrument or do you need to write them in the score

Read the Csound manual entry for vco2. You don’t need to pass it tables if you wish to create these standard waveforms.
